SEASON OVERVIEW
The NCFFL season is designed to provide collegiate programs with consistent, high-level competition while maximizing athlete development, exposure, and flexibility throughout the academic year.
Fall Season

Events held across multiple locations throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions

Designed to provide programs with competitive fall opportunities without requiring a full conference-style commitment

Regional tournaments featuring many of the top collegiate flag football programs in the country

REGIONAL EVENT FORMAT
Each NCFFL regional event includes:

Four guaranteed games
-
Two-day event structure
-
No playoffs — every game counts toward rankings, development, and exposure

All games played under the FULL NCAA Women’s Flag Football Rulebook
Game Structure
Every NCFFL game will feature:

Full 60-minute games
-
Four quarters
-
Official NCAA timing and gameplay procedures

Certified officials and professional game operations


RECRUITING OPPORTUNITIES
College Recruiting Combines
The NCFFL will host 3–4 College Recruiting Combines during the 2026–2027 season, providing athletes with elite exposure opportunities in front of collegiate coaching staffs from across the country.
Each combine will feature:

Position-specific drills and evaluations

Recruiting exposure opportunities

Direct interaction with college coaches
Verified Testing Metrics Include:

20-yard dash

Vertical jump

Agility/cone drills

Position-specific athletic testing
All verified testing results and evaluations will be provided directly to attending college coaches to assist with recruiting and scholarship evaluations.
NCFFL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The NCFFL National Championships will serve as the premier postseason event of the year and will be an OPEN SIGN-UP EVENT, meaning programs do not need to attend prior NCFFL regionals in order to compete for a national title.
The National Championships will feature:

Pool play followed by a championship playoff bracket

National livestream coverage and media exposure

College recruiting opportunities and special event experiences
Championship Divisions

A Bracket — Designed for more established and experienced collegiate programs competing for the NCFFL National Championship

B Bracket — Designed for newer, developing, and first-year collegiate programs to ensure competitive balance and meaningful gameplay opportunities
